LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Pat Kelly reached his 1,800th career managerial victory in the Minor Leagues and the Louisville offense erupted for 10 runs while blanking the visiting Nashville Sounds in a 10-0 win Friday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

The Bats struck first in the third inning with an RBI double off the bat of Ender Inciarte, which would set the tone for the rest of the evening as Louisville totaled eight extra-base hits.

Alex Blandino also doubled in a run in the fourth and Mallex Smith lifted his first home run of the season on a solo blast that hooked just inside the right field foul pole during a two-run fifth inning.

All told, five Bats produced multiple hits in the game, including Inciarte, Alfredo Rodriguez, Beau Taylor, Reds rehabber Nick Senzel and Braxton Lee, who entered the game in the top of the sixth inning as a defensive substitution and capitalized on both of his at bats, finished 2-for-2 with a triple and four RBIs. Inciarte paced the group's effort with a 4-for-5 night with a double and pair of RBIs.

Starter Bo Takahashi pitched 6.0 innings of scoreless, four-hit ball with seven strikeouts and one walk. The outing extends Takahashi's scoreless streak to 19.0 straight innings over his last three starts.

Reds rehabbers Michael Feliz and RJ Alaniz, along with Bats reliever Tony Santillan, combined to blank Nashville for the final three innings. They allowed just one hit en route to the shutout.

The Bats have now won six of the last seven contests against the Sounds dating to July 16.

The Bats will host the Sounds for the fourth installation of the six-game series on Saturday at 7 p.m. Louisville right-hander RHP Riley O'Brien (6-5, 4.03) is set to get the ball against Nashville righty Josh Lindblom (3-1, 1.60).
