Barracuda Return Home, Cruise Past Gulls 5-1

The San Jose Barracuda (0-1-0-0) returned to the SAP Center on Friday night for their 2019-20 home opener against the San Diego Gulls (Anaheim Ducks) (0-2-0-0) and scored three times in the first en-route to a 5-1 win

PLAYER NOTES

Josef Korenar (1-1-0) earned his first win of the season by stopping 23 of the 24 shots he faced

Anthony Stolarz (0-2-0) suffered his second loss on the year, allowing five goals on 41 shots

Maxim Letunov (1) and Jayden Halbgewachs (1) led San Jose with a goal and an assist each

Jonny Brodzinski (1), Alexander True (1), and Jeffrey Viel (1) also scored for San Jose in the 5-1 victory
