PLAYOFF PICTURE:

The Condors have won three of their last four to move into a three-way tie with the Phoenix RoadRunners and Stockton Thunder for the final two National Conference playoff spots. Bakersfield concluded the season series with Stockton on March 17 and will face the RoadRunners for the final time in the regular season on April 3 in Phoenix.

Including tonight, the Condors have five games left, while Phoenix also has five games remaining, with two games in Alaska and two against Las Vegas in addition to the match up with Bakersfield. Stockton will play six more games this season and will finish the year on a four-game road trip - one in Fresno and three in Utah. The first playoff tie break in the ECHL is overall wins.

ROSTER UPDATE:

LW Mark Derlago returns to the lineup after being released from his Professional Try-Out (PTO) with Manitoba yesterday. C Ryan Salvis signed today and will make his pro debut tonight. D Joe Dustin was released today. RW Jason Kostadine will serve the second game of his two-game league suspension tonight. D Derrick Byfuglien remains on the 3-IR, though he is eligible to return. F Sean Venedam, D Scott Balan and C Mike Hofstrand are all on the 30-IR for the rest of the season after undergoing season-ending surgery.

SERIES HISTORY:

The Condors and Salmon Kings are meeting for the 9th and final time this season. The Condors (22-36-9, 53 points) have picked up points in their last four against the Salmon Kings, going 2-0-2, and are 2-3-3 overall against Victoria (40-21-5, 85 points) this season. The Salmon Kings have set a club record with 40 wins this season. LW Mark Derlago leads the Condors with 10 goals in eight games against Victoria this season.

PROMOTIONAL NOTES:

Tonight, the first 2,000 kids, 12-and-under, will get a Condors Hockey Stick and Puck set, courtesy of KGET-TV 17 and US Army.

It is also the final Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Californian, & Wells Fargo Bank Condors Kids Club Night of the season. All Kids Club members receive free admission.
