Johnstown Chiefs News Release
Johnstown, PA - With the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoffs right around the corner, the Johnstown Chiefs are pleased to announce that playoff tickets will go on sale Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 10:00 AM.
Individual playoff tickets can be purchased by visiting the War Memorial Box Office in person during business hours, calling the box office at 814-536-5156, or by going to www.johnstownchiefs.com.
The Chiefs are also offering a playoff ticket package to the general public that is available until Monday, March 31. The package comes in five game increments, ensures the same seat for every game, and saves $2.50 on the regular gate price. The package can still be purchased after March 31, but seats can not be guaranteed.
For their first round series, the Chiefs are guaranteed at least one game on War Memorial Ice, and would get two if they finish fourth in the North Division, and the series reaches a deciding third game. The Chiefs are two points away from clinching their third consecutive Kelly Cup Playoff berth, and could qualify with a win over Wheeling tonight.
The Chiefs return home to take on the Cincinnati Cyclones this Saturday at 7:05 PM. For the game, the Chiefs will be hosting their final Dodge Shootout of 2007-08. You could be the lucky fan to come to center ice and shoot for a brand new Dodge vehicle! Also, Danny Oberst, of ESPN fame, will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs in a special post-game autograph session.
