Charlotte Knights News Release
(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson, who is currently on the team's 10-day injured list, will begin a Major League Baseball rehab assignment with the Charlotte Knights starting tonight at Truist Field. Additionally, White Sox infielder Hanser Alberto will also begin a rehab stint tonight. The Knights host the Norfolk Tides (Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) in a doubleheader tonight with first pitch of game one on tap for 5:35 p.m. from Uptown Charlotte.
Anderson, 29, was placed on Chicago's 10-day injured list on April 11 with a left knee sprain.
