LOUISVILLE, KEN. - While the Omaha Storm Chasers connected for a pair of home runs, they fell for the fourth straight game to the Louisville Bats by a score of 8-3.

The first three innings were a similar story to the start of the week, as the Bats scored a run on three singles in the first inning, but the Storm Chasers tied the game in the top of the third inning on José Briceño's first home run of the season for a 1-1 score.

The game did not stay tied for long, however, as Louisville struck for four runs in the bottom of the fourth against starter Anthony Veneziano for a 5-1 lead.

Angelo Castellano singled in Tyler Gentry in the fifth inning for Omaha's second run of the game to cut the deficit to three but the Bats responded with one in the fifth and three in the sixth off reliever Walter Pennington to jump ahead by six runs and keep the Chasers at bay.

Behind Pennington, Jonah Dipoto and Christian Chamberlain combined for 2.1 scoreless innings with three inherited runners stranded to prevent the deficit from growing.

CJ Alexander opened the top of the seventh with a solo home run, his team-leading 12th of the season but Omaha was unable to score the rest of the way. The team added three more singles over the last two innings, including Gentry's second of the game and Castellano's third hits in four plate appearances.

With four straight road losses for the first time this season, Jonathan Bowlan heads to the mound Saturday to try and right the ship, with a 6:15 p.m. CT first pitch at Louisville Slugger Field.
