The St. John's Maple Leafs will carry the live broadcast feed from the Annual AHL All-Star Classic in Portland, Maine this Monday, February 3. Listeners can log onto www.sjmapleleafs.ca to listen to all the action LIVE at 8:30PM (NT). Ken Cail, the voice of the Manchester Monarchs, will be joined in the broadcast booth by Lowell Lock Monsters broadcaster Ryan Johnston, while Michael Thornton of the Worcester IceCats conducts interviews from the PlanetUSA and Canadian All-Star Team locker rooms. In addition to the cybercast, the game will also be carried over the airwaves on the Pirates Radio Network, led by flagship stations WJAB-AM 1440 and WJAB-FM 95.5 in Portland.

The 2003 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic, which begins with the 2003 Pepsi AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Feb. 2, will also be televised to 60 million homes on Rogers Sportsnet nationally in Canada and 15 regional networks across the United States. Former Portland Pirates broadcaster Tom Caron and ex-Maine Mariners forward Andy Brickley, both of whom currently cover the Boston Bruins for the New England Sports Network, will provide the call on the telecast. Dave Ahlers, the current voice of the Pirates, will work as a rinkside reporter. The Maple Leafs will continue their six-game homestand next Friday, February 7 when they play the Albany River Rats. Game time is 7:30PM and will be broadcast LIVE on Radio NF (930AM) and www.sjmapleleafs.ca .
