
LW Mike Brown Assigned by Anaheim

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League were assigned left wing Mike Brown by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Monday.
Brown, a first-round pick by Florida in 1997, had one goal and one assist with 28 penalty minutes in 14 games with Anaheim this season. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder has appeared in three games with Cincinnati this season, going scoreless with no penalty minutes.
A native of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Brown was claimed on waivers by Anaheim on October 11, 202. He was acquired by Vancouver from Florida with Ed Jovanovski, Dave Gagner, Kevin Weekes and Florida's first-round pick in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Pavel Bure, Bret Hedican, Brad Ference and Vancouver's third-round selection in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft on January 17, 1999.
