Admirals Release Forward MacQueen from PTO

NORFOLK, VA- The Norfolk Admirals announced Saturday that the team has released forward Jamie MacQueen from his PTO contract. MacQueen will be returned to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL.

MacQueen, 25, appeared in 14 games for Norfolk this season registering three points (1g, 2a) and a +1 rating. Earlier this season, MacQueen scored six goals in three games played with Utah. He was named the ECHL Player of the Week for the week of October 18-20.

Last season, The 6-1, 185-pound forward registered 15 points (7g, 8a) in 33 games played with the Denver Cutthroats of the Central Hockey League, and posted five points (3g, 2a) with the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL). The London, Ontario native played four seasons at Bemidji State University (WCHA) compiling 47 points (24g, 23a) and 96 penalty minutes from 2008-2012.
