HAMILTON, ONTARIO - St. John's IceCaps goaltender Jussi Olkinuora stopped all 30 shots the Hamilton Bulldogs threw at him on Saturday night as the 'Dogs (12-12-0-3) dropped their first shutout loss of the season to the IceCaps (15-10-1-2) 3-0 on Saturday evening at Copps Coliseum.

After a scoreless first period, St. John's forward Kael Mouillierat opened the scoring just less than eight minutes into the second period, with assists from forwards Jerome Samson and Patrice Cormier.

IceCaps forward Carl Klingberg extended his team's lead to 2-0 at 14:35 of the middle frame, assisted by defenceman Brenden Kitchon and forward J.C. Lipon.

Less than four minutes into the third period, St. John's forward Eric O'Dell squeaked a puck past Bulldogs goaltender Dustin Tokarski to make it a 3-0 game. Kichton and forward Andrew Gordon earned assists on the play.

The Bulldogs threw seven third-period shots at Olkinuora, but couldn't break his shutout bid.

Tokarski made 36 saves on 39 shots in the Bulldogs net in the loss. Olkinuora was a perfect 30-for-30 for the IceCaps in the win.

The Bulldogs went 0-for-3 on the power play, while the IceCaps went 0-for-6.
