Jack Skille Returned on Loan to Springfield

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced Saturday morning that forward Jack Skille has been returned on loan to the club by the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team's NHL affiliate.

Skille appeared in seven games with the Blue Jackets, totaling two goals and a +2 rating. In six games with the Falcons this season, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound winger has recorded three points (two goals, one assist) and a +1 rating. Skille was recalled by Columbus Sunday, November 17, his second stint with the NHL club this season.

A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Skille was a first round draft selection of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2005. He has played in 185 NHL games, totaling 51 points (22 goals, 29 assists) for the Blue Jackets, Blackhawks and Florida Panthers.

The first-place Falcons prepare for the second of back-to-back games against the Norfolk Admirals at Scope Arena Saturday at 7:15 p.m. Springfield has earned a point in four consecutive games.
