Rematch with Barons Tonight

Rockford, Ill. - A night after knocking off Oklahoma City at the BMO Harris Bank Center, the Rockford IceHogs (14-11-2-0) welcome the Barons (10-14-0-4) back for a rematch tonight at 7 p.m.

The win for Rockford on Friday was the fourth straight game in which the team has picked up a standings point. The IceHogs show a record of 3-0-1-0 during that stretch and have now won five of their last seven tilts (5-1-1-0).

Tickets for tonight's game can be purchased online through IceHogs.com, by calling (815) 968-5222, or by visiting the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office or any Ticketmaster outlet .

Fans that are unable to make it out to the game tonight can watch live on WIFR's 23.2 Antenna TV beginning at 6:30 p.m. with "IceHogs Warm-up." The game is also available on Comcast channel 436, Charter channel 970, Mediacom channel 101 or online through AHL Live. There is a free audio web stream at ahllive.com.

The Hogs will be collecting toys at the game tonight as part of the toy drive for Toys for Tots. Each person to donate will receive a ticket voucher for the IceHogs game on Jan. 3 or 4. Limit one voucher per person.

Additionally, the IceHogs along with ESPN 1380, are collecting gently used sports equipment to donate to the Stateline Boys and Girls Club. A bin will be setup at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office for fans to drop off their equipment and each person to donate will receive a special ticket offer (buy one ticket, get one free) for any IceHogs home game through Jan. 10.

Last night's win against Oklahoma City was the first time in IceHogs team history that they have knocked off the Barons on home ice. Rockford has an all-time record of 5-9-1-0 against Oklahoma City.

Defenseman Adam Clendening dished out an assist on Friday to increase his point total to 20, which leads the IceHogs and ranks third among all AHL defenseman.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Dec. 21 vs. Milwaukee Admirals at 7 p.m. The Hogs take on their Midwest Division rival Milwaukee Admirals on Bryan Bickell bobblehead night. The first 2,500 fans will pick up the first of three in the Champions series bobbleheads, compliments of Dental Dimensions.
