Jordan Martinook broke the stalemate with 8:36 left in the second with his third goal of the year to give then Pirates a 1-0 lead. Tobias Rieder and Brandon McMillan picked up assists, extending McMillan's point streak to 4 games in his first game back at the Norfolk Scope since he was acquired by the Coyotes.
