Notes & Information
No Cuevas: Noel Cuevas feasted on Aces' pitching when he was at Greater Nevada Field last week. Luckily for the Aces, he was recalled by the Colorado Rockies on Monday. The outfielder was 7-for-12 with three home runs, two doubles, and a triple including a cycle on April 10. Cuevas was 0-for-2 in Monday's win for the Rockies over San Diego but has yet to appear in Tuesday's game for Colorado.
Stay Hot, Kid: Travis Snider entered Tuesday's game as the Pacific Coast League leader in average (.515), on-base percentage (.619), and second in hits (17). Snider had 17 less at-bats than the PCL hit leader, El Paso's Ty France, prior to tonight's game. Snider was 2-for-3 Tuesday with two home runs, and two walks ensuring he stays near the top of the leaderboards. He missed an opportunity in the top of the 8th inning with a strikeout to become just the fourth Ace in franchise hisotry to have three home runs in a single game. Cole Gillespie, Chris Owings, and Kevin Cron are the only Aces to homer three times in a single game.
