South Georgia Tormenta FC Helps Fight Statesboro Food Insecurity
March 18, 2024 - STATESBORO, Ga. - During halftime at the season opener, South Georgia Tormenta FC presented a check for more than $2,000 to the Statesboro Food Bank. The donation came from a fundraiser held for the 2023 season, where Tormenta donated $100 for every home goal scored by its USL League One team and USL W League team. March 2, 2024 - South Georgia Tormenta FC hosted Charleston Battery Saturday night in what was an end-to-end match. The match ultimately ended 1-3 in favor of the Battery. February 24, 2024 - STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC defeated Jacksonville University 1-0 at Tormenta Stadium Saturday afternoon.
