Tormenta FC Adds Four Players to Roster Ahead of 2019 Season

March 19, 2019 - With its USL League One home opener less than two weeks away, South Georgia Tormenta FC has signed defender Yaw Amankwa, forward Kaleb Jackson, defender Daltyn Knutson and goalkeeper Matias Reynares, pending league and federation approval. Defender Yaw Amankwa played for the U-14,U-15 and U-17 U.S. Youth National teams growing up and played for League Two team Myrtle Beach Mutiny in 2018. Tormenta FC Breaking Ground in Two Weeks

March 13, 2019 - On Wednesday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m, South Georgia Tormenta FC will break ground on its 5300-seat soccer stadium. Because support from the South Georgia community has been a catalyst in Tormenta FC's journey, all are invited to bring a shovel and break ground with the club. Season Kickoff Coach's Show Tonight

March 8, 2019 - Today, South Georgia Tormenta FC will host its second annual "Fans, Food, & Futbol" season kickoff event. The event begins at 6:30 pm with a Coach's Show emceed by Statesboro Herald's Mike Anthony. Interviews from Tormenta FC owner Darin Van Tassell and USL League One head coach John Miglarese will provide insight into the 2019 season. Tormenta FC Academy Rebrand Coming Fall 2019

March 7, 2019 - Beginning in Fall 2019, Tormenta FC Academy will be rebranded to solely have a direct connection with the professional franchise. Unique to other youth academies around the nation, Tormenta FC Academy features a direct path from age two and a half all the way up to the professional level.
