Bananas Season Sold Out

June 25, 2018 - SAVANNAH, GA - The Savannah Bananas are proud to announce that all games of the 2018 season are sold out for the second consecutive season. It is the earliest this has been achieved in both team and Coastal Plain League history. Over 110,000 total tickets have been sold for the 27 games hosted at Grayson Stadium this summer. Matt Pita Returns To Bananas For 2018

May 22, 2018 - SAVANNAH, Ga - The Savannah Bananas are excited to announce that Matt Pita, a 2017 Banana, will be returning from Virginia Military Institute for a second season. Matt Pita (Jr. INF, VMI) had 20 RBI last summer with a .341 batting average on the season. His most memorable game of 2017 was against the Asheboro Copperheads, where he racked up six RBI, including a grand slam. He is coming off of a strong season at VMI, batting .390 and slugging .716. Bananas Add SEC Players to 2018 Roster

May 18, 2018 - SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Savannah Bananas have signed four more SEC players for the 2018 season. Hunter Wilson (Arkansas), Allonte Wingate (Texas A&M), Jason Ruffcorn (Texas A&M), and Landon Miner (Texas A&M) will be joining LJ Talley (Georgia) at Grayson Stadium this summer. Hunter Wilson (RS Jr. INF) is batting .275 overall and .308 against SEC teams this season for the Razorbacks. This is his second season with Arkansas.
