Clay Harrell Named Inaugural Head Coach of Savannah Leprechauns

September 24, 2026 - The Savannah Leprechauns have named Clay Harrell as the inaugural Head Coach in franchise history, bringing an experienced indoor football coach to Savannah as the organization prepares for its first season in the Indoor Football League. Harrell comes to Savannah after spending six seasons with the Jacksonville Sharks, where he served in multiple roles and most recently led the defense as Defensive Coordinator.
