Ghost Pirates Sign Logan Drevitch for 2024-25 Season

July 18, 2024 - SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Savannah Ghost Pirates announced Thursday the club has signed forward Logan Drevitch to an ECHL contract for the 2024-25 season. Drevitch, 26, led Savannah with 52 points (19 goals, 33 assists) in 69 games last season. The Middleboro, MA, native is Savannah's franchise leader in assists (57), ranking second in points (89). Ghost Pirates Announce 2024-25 Promotional Schedule

July 15, 2024 - The Savannah Ghost Pirates announced today a first look at the team's 2024-25 season promotional schedule. This year will feature over a dozen themes, including extraordinary celebrations and entertainment at Enmarket Arena. Additional theme nights and ticket packages will be announced at a later date. Zawyer Sports & Entertainment Acquires Controlling Interest in Charlotte Checkers

July 15, 2024 - The Charlotte Checkers today announced that Zawyer Sports & Entertainment has acquired a controlling interest in the team. Michael Kahn, the team's current CEO who has held majority ownership since 2006, will remain as the largest minority partner. The Checkers' day-to-day business operations and front office staff will not change as a result of the ownership transfer. Ghost Pirates Hire Brenden Kotyk as Assistant Coach

July 12, 2024 - SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Savannah Ghost Pirates announced Friday that Brenden Kotyk has been hired as the team's assistant coach. Kotyk, 32, has spent the previous two seasons as the Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations of the South Carolina Stingrays. The Regina, SK, native served as South Carolina's assistant coach in 2020-21 before being promoted to interim head coach in 2022.
