September 5, 2025 - Winston-Salem, NC (September 5th, 2025) - Winston-Salem (54-73) took game three of a six-game series against Greenville (65-64) by a 7-5 final. Drive scored five unanswered in the ninth and tenth to grab the comeback win. September 4, 2025 - WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - A new era of hockey in Winston-Salem will begin on September 24th, as the Thunderbirds professional hockey franchise introduces a new logo, jersey, and formally welcomes new ownership into the organization. Dash Held Scoreless in Game 2

September 3, 2025 - Winston-Salem, NC - Winston-Salem (54-72) fell in a 5-0 shutout against the Greenville Drive (64-64). The Drive scored four runs over the final four innings to take game two of the series. For a second straight game, the Dash and Drive sat in a pitchers' duel. The Drive scratched a run across in the third after four straight walks from Frankeli Arias to make it 1-0 early. September 3, 2025 - WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Carolina Thunderbirds, proud members of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL), have acquired defenseman Kyle Russell and forward/defenseman Jagger Benson from the Athens Rock Lobsters in exchange for forward Dawson Baker.
