April 23, 2024 - The Manitoba Moose (0-1) battled with the Central Division's Texas Stars (1-0) on Tuesday evening at H-E-B Center for Game 1 of the Calder Cup Playoffs First Round. Manitoba opened the scoring at the 15:54 mark of the first with a goal from Daniel Torgersson. The winger found Mark Liwiski, who took the pass in the slot in the slot and fired a shot on goal. April 23, 2024 - WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, announced today defenceman Kyle Capobianco has been voted the 2023-24 Eddie Shore Award winner as the AHL's outstanding defenceman. Capobianco, 26, led all AHL defencemen, and finished second on the Moose, with 54 points (12G, 42A) in 69 games this season.
