Lions Sign Former Cleveland Brown Demetric Felton, Add Fellow American WR Bryan Thompson

January 30, 2026 - (Vancouver) - The BC Lions announced today the signings of two American wide receivers: Demetric Felton and Bryan Thompson. Felton (5'10, 200 lbs)- a round six selection (211th overall) by Cleveland in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Memphis native suited up in 15 games as a rookie and made 18 receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns. All-CFL Returner DeVonte Dedmon Signs with Alouettes

January 30, 2026 - Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced today that the club has signed American returner DeVonte Dedmon to a one-year-deal. In 2025, he returned 22 kickoffs for 513 yards and returned 20 punts for 232 yards in eight games for Ottawa. The College of William & Mary product played 42 regular season games and one playoff game over his six seasons with the REDBLACKS (2019-25), posting 128 kickoff returns for 3,347 yards and three touchdowns with 151 punt returns for 1,985 yards and three touchdowns. January 30, 2026 - OTTAWA - The Ottawa REDBLACKS announced today that the football club has signed global punter James Burnip. Burnip, 24, most recently spent training camp last year with the New Orleans Saints. The native of Mount Macedon, Victoria, Australia, was selected by the REDBLACKS in the second round, 14th overall in the 2025 CFL Global Draft.
