Als Sign a Deal with Americans DB Trey Jones III and DL Bryce Ganious
January 22, 2026 - Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced today the signing of defensive back Trey Jones III and defensive lineman Bryce Ganious. Both Americans inked two-year deals (2026-2027).
Jones III (6'2", 215 lb) transferred to Texas A&M University in 2024 and produced 16 tackles (9 solos, 7 assisted), two knockdowns in 11 games for the Aggies.

Roughriders Sign former Old Dominion Standout Marcus Haynes
January 22, 2026 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive lineman Marcus Haynes.
Haynes(6'4-240) signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2023, playing in three preseason games. He registered five tackles and one pass deflection and was signed to the Club's practice roster. He went on to spend time with the Texans, Steelers, Browns. In 2025 he joined the UFL's San Antonio Brahmas and suited up for two games, registering seven tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack before he was signed by the Indi... Patrick Barrett Named Offensive Line Coach
January 22, 2026 - Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, a proud member of the IFL and powered by Community Care, names Patrick Barrett as the team's Offensive Line Coach for the 2026 season.
Barrett, officially joined the Tulsa coaching staff in 2026 after retiring following the 2025 season. From 2023-25, the former lineman started 32 games at center for the Tulsa Oilers.
"He is the best offensive line coach out there," said head coach Marvin Jones. "He is smart and savvy and knows the game more than most."
