Tiger-Cats Add Defensive Back Gavin Gibson
May 15, 2026 - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today the team has signed American defensive back Gavin Gibson.
Gibson, 21, played 12 games at the University of North Carolina in 2025, recording 38 total tackles (25 solo), three tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
The 6-0, 185-pound native of Hickory, North Carolina, previously spent time at East Carolina (2024) and Maryland (2022-23), appearing in 33 career games and registering 84 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, three interceptio... Full StoryMore from the Canadian Football League

May 14, 2026 - Montreal - Quarterback Dustin Crum is beginning a new chapter in his career with the Montreal Alouettes after spending the last three seasons with the Ottawa Redblacks. Signed by Montreal on February 10, Crum arrives at training camp determined to quickly embrace the culture established by head coach Jason Maas.

PK Matthew Cook Named Special Teams Player of the Week
May 14, 2026 - GLENDALE, Arizona - Rattlers placekicker Matthew Cook has been named the IFL Special Teams Player of the week for his performance in Arizona's 66-14 victory Sunday over the Tucson Sugar Skulls.
Cook scored 16 points in the game including four made deuces. A deuce is scored when a kickoff goes through the uprights. It is worth two points. The four deuces are a franchise record. In addition to the deuces, Cook was 8-for-8 on extra points in the game.
