February 18, 2017 - Sioux Falls, S.D. - The five-time World Champion Arizona Rattlers (0-1) lose their first game of the season to the Sioux Falls Storm (1-0) by a score of 40-29 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls. The Rattlers were headed into their first foray in the Indoor Football League (IFL), and faced a team with a 62-game home winning streak. Empire Adds Top Two IFL Career Receiving Leaders

February 17, 2017 - SPOKANE, Washington - The Empire has re-signed wide receiver Carl Sims and added Bryan Pray to their 2017 IFL roster. Pray (WR, 5-7, 185, Pittsburgh State) joins the Empire in 2017 as the career leader in receiving yards in IFL history (4,967). Last season with the Iowa Barnstormers, Bryan hauled in 54 receptions for 769 yards and 12 touchdowns in ten games. His 76.9 yards per game ranked first in the IFL during the regular season.
