April 8, 2026 - Dallas Renegades quarterback Austin Reed, Renegades wide receiver Tyler Vaughns, D.C Defenders safety Sam Kidd and Houston Gamblers kicker John Hoyland were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week two of UFL season. April 8, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates brought arena football back to the Kia Center in a rousing 49-46 come from behind victory over the Quad City Steamwheelers. Pirates quarterback Paxton DeLaurent completed 18 of 25 passes for 236 yards with four touchdowns and wide receiver Nyqwan Murray scored twice as the Pirates won their home opener and ran their record to 2-0 on the season. Former NFL DL Daniel Wise Arrives in the Nest

April 8, 2026 - Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced Wednesday that they have signed American defensive lineman Daniel Wise to a two-year contract (2026, 2027). Wise (6'3", 279 lbs.) played 17 games in the NFL with Washington in 2021-2022, including two starts. The former University of Kansas product recorded 11 tackles during that stretch.
