Barnstormers 2016 Season Fast Approaching

February 11, 2016 - DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers will take the field for the first time in 2016 as they travel to Cedar Rapids for a pre-season matchup versus in-state rivals the Titans on Friday, February 12. The pre-season game is set to kick off at the U.S. Cellular Center at 7:05pm. At the start of February, 40 athletes from across the country came to Des Moines for the Barnstormers two-week long Training Camp. Tiger-Cats Sign Defensive Back Washington

February 11, 2016 - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Thursday that the football club has signed international free agent defensive back Demond Washington to a two-year contract. Washington, 28, started 17 games in 2015 for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, posting 67 defensive tackles, one sack, three interceptions, three pass knock downs and a forced fumble. Riders Acquire Tevaughn Campbell

February 11, 2016 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired national defensive back Tevaughn Campbell from the Calgary Stampeders. In exchange the Riders have sent their 4th round selection in the 2017 CFL Draft to the Stamps. Campbell (6'0 - 190) dressed in five games in 2015, his rookie season, and recorded seven defensive tackles, one special-teams tackle and one knockdown.
