2025 Season Yields $10m in League-Wide Revenue Growth

January 23, 2026 - TORONTO - In 2025, the Canadian Football League's (CFL) Defined League Revenue reached $10M more than the baseline established in 2024 when the Collective Bargaining Agreement's (CBA) revenue growth sharing model was triggered for the first time since its implementation in 2022. The CFL Players' Association (CFLPA) has allocated the majority of its share towards increasing the Salary Expenditure Cap to $6,280,514 for the upcoming season. Orozco and Huggins Return to Jax

January 23, 2026 - Jacksonville, FL - The Sharks welcome back K Marc Orozco and DB John Huggins to the Tank for the upcoming 2026 season. Orozco returns after announcing his retirement in the 2025 season, deciding to lace up the cleats once again. January 23, 2026 - TORONTO - The Canadian Football League (CFL) has shifted the timing of its Preseason Week 2 contest on Saturday, May 23, featuring the Edmonton Elks visiting the BC Lions. Originally scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. PT/5 p.m. MT/7 p.m. ET, the game will now begin at 2 p.m. PT/3 p.m. MT/5 p.m. ET.
