February 5, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - The Edmonton Oil Kings announced today that they have re-assigned 2009-born forward Jensen Marsh and 2009-born defenceman Matheas Hejda to their respective clubs.
Marsh heads back to the Drumheller Dragons of the AJHL where he has 21 points in 32 games this season. In 14 games with the Oil Kings, Marsh has five points in 14 games.
Hejda will return to Northern Alberta XTreme U18 Prep squad where he has 13 points in 25 games. He has played three games with the Oil Kings this year.

February 5, 2026 - Medicine Hat, Alta. - The Edmonton Oil Kings earned a 4-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers on Wednesday night in a game that had a playoff energy to it.
The Oil Kings were able to get a 2-0 lead in the first period and were able to lock things down and fight their way to their 32nd win of the season.

February 4, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - Edmonton Oil Kings forward Max Curran announced today that he has committed to the University of Massachusetts in NCAA Division I for the 2026/2027 season.
"It's an honour to announce my commitment to UMass for next season," Curran said. "I'm grateful for everything the Oil Kings have given me so far and proud to represent this organization at the next level. I'm excited for what's ahead."
Curran, out of Praha, Czechia, joined the Oil Kings via trade this season from the Tri-City Americans. In 31 game... Full Story

Anderson returns to the Estevan Bears U18AAA club where he has 32 points in 35 games. Anderson played on Saturday night for the Oil Kings in Swift Current, and earned a +1 rating in the game.
