Curran and MacKenzie Return from World Juniors with Medals in Tow

January 13, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - A pair of Edmonton Oil Kings are back with the club after earning medals at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships in Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, U.S.A. Forward Max Curran helped Team Czechia earn a silver medal at the tournament, while defenceman Ethan MacKenzie helped Team Canada win bronze. Six Oil Kings Ranked by NHL Central Scouting in Mid-Term Rankings

January 12, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - A total of six Edmonton Oil Kings have found themselves on NHL Central Scouting's Mid-Term Rankings. Five players are on the list among North American Skaters with defencemen Ethan MacKenzie (74th), Noa Ta'amu (94th), and forwards Dylan Dean (96th), Andrew O'Neill (126th), and Lukas Sawchyn (168th) are all on the list. January 12, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - The Edmonton Oil Kings are excited to unveil the specialty jerseys they will be wearing on Saturday, January 17 when they host the Tri-City Americans.
