March 8, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - The Edmonton Oil Kings four game winning streak came to an end on Sunday afternoon in a 4-3 loss to the Prince Albert Raiders. The first period had the teams going back-and-forth, but the Raiders holding the shot advantage 8-4, but the score being tied 2-2. Edmonton opened the scoring with Landon Hansons 23rd of the season to make it 1-0 before Daxon Rudolph and Justice Christensen responded for the Raiders shortly after. Oil Kings Announce Curran out for Remainder of Season

March 8, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - The Edmonton Oil Kings announced today that 2006-born forward Max Curran has received surgery for an injury and will be out for the remainder of the season. Curran joined the Oil Kings prior to this season and in 31 games for Edmonton, the 6'3″, 187lbs centre scored 14 goals and added 27 assists for 41 points. Oil Kings Host Raiders, Looking to Keep Things Rolling at Home

March 8, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - The Edmonton Oil Kings continue their six-game game home stand today as they host the Prince Albert Raiders. The Oil Kings are currently 3-0-0-0 on their homestand and have outscored their opponents 15-3 in those games after a big 6-1 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers last night. March 8, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - It was an entertaining affair at Rogers Place on Saturday as the Edmonton Oil Kings and Medicine Hat Tigers played their eighth and final meeting of the season series.
