Nastrini Promoted, Will Make MLB Debut Tonight

April 15, 2024 - (UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - RHP Nick Nastrini had his contract selected by the Chicago White Sox today. Nastrini, 24, will make his Major League Debut tonight with the White Sox against the Kansas City Royals at 7:40 p.m. ET. With the Knights this season, Nastrini is 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA in two starts (7.0 IP). He struck-out eight Jumbo Shrimp batters in four innings on April 9 at Jacksonville. Spring Training Underway: Three Signed; One Departs

April 15, 2024 - (Central Islip, N.Y.) - The Long Island Ducks today took the field at Fairfield Properties Ballpark for the first time in 2024 to begin their spring training workouts. The team included three additions, as the Ducks announced the signings of infielder Hector Gomez and right-handed pitchers Ramon Santos and John LaRossa. Additionally, right-handed pitcher Raynel Espinal's contract has been purchased by Rieleros de Aguascalientes of the Mexican League.
