Albuquerque, NM - Starting pitcher Sean Sullivan allowed just one run on a sac fly to Reno's Jacob Amaya in the fifth inning while relievers Keegan Thompson and T.J. Shook permitted just two combined hits, but Albuquerque's offense managed just four base knocks in a 1-0 loss to the Aces Wednesday night at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.

Topes Scope: - Tonight's contest is just the third nine-inning 1-0 game at RGCU Field in team history (also: June 23, 2009, vs. Nashville, win; May 26, 2014, vs. Reno, loss). In the 2014 contest, Reno also scored their run on a non-hit (wild pitch).

-Sean Sullivan made his Triple-A debut and tossed 4.2 frames of one-run ball while allowing four hits and two walks with eight punchouts, including seven-straight between the second and fourth innings.

-Albuquerque limited their opponent to one run for the second time in 2026 (also: March 27 at Oklahoma City, 3-1 win). In 2025, the Isotopes held their opponents to one run or fewer just four times (two shutouts).

-The Isotopes were shutout at home for the first since September 3, 2025, vs. Round Rock (3-0). Additionally, it's the eighth time Albuquerque has been shutout by Reno (last: June 22, 2019, at Reno, 1-0) and the fifth occurrence at RGCU Field (last: June 28, 2014, 2-0).

-Albuquerque fanned 12 batters on the night, the third-straight contest with double-digit strikeouts (last: August 19-21, 2025, vs. Las Vegas; 13, 10 and 14).

-The Isotopes have lost their first two home games of a season for the fourth time in team history (also: 2003, 2008, 2021).

-Albuquerque has scored just 14 runs on the year, second-fewest in all of Triple-A. Additionally, the club has scored just five runs in their last 31 innings at-bat.

-In his second rehab game with the Isotopes, Zac Veen went 0-for-3 with one strikeout. Over his first two contests, he is 0-for-7 with four punchouts.

-Blaine Crim, also in his second rehab game with the Isotopes, went 1-for-3 with a single. In two rehab contests, he is 2-for-6 with two singles and two strikeouts.

-Charlie Condon went 2-for-4 with a double and one punchout. He has a hit in four of five games while recording three multi-hit contests.

-Cole Carrigg went 0-for-4 at the plate with a strikeout, ending his four-game hit streak to begin his first Triple-A season.

On Deck: The Isotopes and Aces meet for game three of the series tomorrow at 12:05 pm MT at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park. Albuquerque is expected to send Tanner Gordon to the hill while Reno is slated to start Kohl Drake.
