Legends Acquire Melvin Johnson III in Trade with Raptors 905

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends announced today that they have acquired forward Melvin Johnson III in a trade with Raptors 905 in exchange for Texas' own fourth round pick in the 2016 NBA Development League Draft. Trade is subject to physicals.
Johnson (6-6, 168, Arkansas State) averaged 15.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 32 games his senior season with Arkansas State. Johnson has played 67 games in the D-League with the Delaware 87ers, Reno Bighorns and 905. In 30 games with the 905 this season he has averaged 9.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in 17.5 minutes.
