Jodie Steps Down as Saltdogs Field Manager

December 15, 2025 - LINCOLN, NE - The Lincoln Saltdogs have announced that Brett Jodie has stepped down as field manager of the Saltdogs. In five seasons, Jodie recorded 230 wins, and guided Lincoln to the American Association playoffs in 2022. "After thoughtful consideration and prayer, I have decided to step down as the manager of the Lincoln Saltdogs. Stars Fall to Saints, 5-2

December 13, 2025 - The Lincoln Stars (15-12-0-0) fell to the Dubuque Fighting Saintss 5-2 at the Ice Box on Saturday night. The Stars enter the Holiday break third place in the Western Conference. Dubuque would score the first three goals of the game before Alex Pelletier found the back of the net for his 25th goal of the season, and eighth on the power-play to cut the lead to 3-1. Stars Fall at Home to Saints

December 12, 2025 - The Lincoln Stars (15-11-0-0) fell at home to the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Friday at the Ice Box. Dubuque would jump out to an early lead two minutes into the game as Gavin Lock would get a puck to go on a wrap-around. Dubuque would add another tally ten minutes later on a rocket from Michael Barron from the point. The Fighting Saints would lead 2-0 heading into the second period. Stars Defeat Stampede, Move to Second Place in West

December 10, 2025 - The Lincoln Stars (15-10-0-0) moved into second place in the Western Conference, defeating the Sioux Falls Stampede 5-3 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Sioux Falls would start the scoring 38 seconds into the first. Joey Macrina would slot a puck into the net to give the Stampede the 1-0 lead.
