Wingnuts Pitching Coach Robertson Retiring After Nine Seasons

February 27, 2017 - WICHITA, Kans. - For the first time in their history the Wichita Wingnuts will be looking for a new pitching coach, as the only pitching coach in club history, Luke Robertson, is retiring after leading the Wingnuts staff for the franchise's first nine seasons. February 25, 2017 - Fort Wayne, IN- Fort Wayne scored three times in the first and knocked off Wichita on Saturday night by the final of 6-0 at Memorial Coliseum. Shawn Szydlowski made it 1-0 at 3:58. He stole the puck on the right wall, skated up on a shorthanded two-on-one, dished a pass to the slot that hit a skate and went past Scott Greenham. Thunder Acquires Veteran Lloyd from Wheeling

February 25, 2017 - Wichita, KS- The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced that the team has acquired forward Darryl Lloyd from the Wheeling Nailers for cash considerations. Lloyd, 33, was signed in the offseason by the Nailers after spending each of the last five seasons with the EIHL's Belfast Giants. Owsley Spectacular in Loss at Cincinnati

February 24, 2017 - Cincinnati, OH (Feb. 24th) - Drew Owsley made 35 saves that included two highlight reel ones in the third period, but the Thunder fell on Friday night 2-0 to Cincinnati at US Bank Arena. The only goal of the first came from Shawn O'Donnell with four minutes to go. He caught up to a loose puck near the Thunder line, drove to the net and scored past Owsley.
