In exchange, South Bay sends the returning player rights to Grayson Murphy and its 2025 first round draft pick. September 2, 2025 - EL SEGUNDO - The South Bay Lakers announced today their 2025-26 NBA G League season schedule. The team will tip off its 18th season of basketball at home versus the Valley Suns Saturday, Nov. 8, at UCLA Health Training Center. The season slate features 24 home games, including 14 contests on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. August 28, 2025 - EL SEGUNDO - The South Bay Lakers have acquired the returning player rights to guard Jarron Cumberland via trade with the Delaware Blue Coats and Birmingham Squadron. In return, South Bay sends its 2026 first-round draft pick to Delaware and 2026 second-round draft pick to Birmingham.
