November 8, 2025 - EL SEGUNDO - The South Bay Lakers defeated the Valley Suns 144-105 on Saturday night, as second-year head coach Zach Guthrie guided the Lakers to their first win of the Tip-Off Tournament at home. Lakers forward Drew Timme led all scorers with 34 points (10-20 FG, 1-4 3FG, 7-9 FT), adding 11 rebounds and six assists in 32 minutes. October 29, 2025 - EL SEGUNDO - The South Bay Lakers have announced their training camp roster following the 2025 NBA G League Draft. Training camp tipped off Monday, Oct. 27, at UCLA Health Training Center under second-year head coach Zach Guthrie. The roster is led by Los Angeles Lakers two-way players Christian Koloko, Chris Mañon and Nick Smith Jr. RJ Davis, Arthur Kaluma, Augustus Marčiulionis and Anton Watson join the team as affiliate players. South Bay Lakers Acquire Returning Player Rights to Center Cheikh Mbacke Diong and a 2025 First Round Draft Pick

October 21, 2025 - EL SEGUNDO - The South Bay Lakers have acquired the returning player rights to center Cheikh Mbacke Diong and a 2025 first round draft pick from the Santa Cruz Warriors in exchange for their 2025 and 2026 second round draft picks. Diong (6'11", 235) appeared in 19 total games with Santa Cruz and Westchester last season, averaging 2.9 points and 4.3 rebounds in 13.0 minutes.
