Ziznewski Named NWL Player of the Night

Waterloo, IA - The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks shortstop John Ziznewski the league's Player of the Night for his efforts in Waterloo's 15-10 win over the Mankato MoonDogs on Thursday evening. Ziznewski, a Long Island University product, went 4-for-6 with two RBI and four runs scored. The Staten Island, New York native hit his sixth double of the year in the victory. Ziznewski is not batting .340 on the season.
Waterloo finishes up a two-game road trip tonight in Mankato. The Bucks return home to face the MoonDogs on Saturday at 7:05 pm. Group outings and single-game tickets are currently on sale.
