
Wranglers\' Make it Four Straight With 3-0 Win Over Peoria

Las Vegas, NV â The Las Vegas Wranglers (15-12-4, 34 points) defeated the Peoria Rivermen (12-14-4, 28 points) 3-0 on Friday night in front of 4,376 fans at the Orleans Arena. Goalie Sebastien Centomo made 29 saves for his second shutout of the season and 23rd of his career. Rookie Dustin Johner scored twice in the win, while defenseman Deryk Engelland scored his second goal of the season as the Wranglers won their fourth straight game. Las Vegas will host Peoria in a rematch Saturday night at 7:05 pm.
In the first period, Las Vegas jumped out to a 1-0 lead as Johner netted his team-leading 13th goal of the season. Engelland and Chris Stanley each assisted on the goal at 12:53.
In the second period, Johner added his second of the night at 17:09. Defenseman Christian Chartier set up Johner on the backdoor feed for the 2-0 lead.
In the third, Engelland netted his fourth career goal on a rebound off his own shot. Center Jeff Attard sprung Engealland in on Peoria goalie Alfie Michaud for the final goal in the 3-0 win.
Saturday January 8th, the Wranglers will host the Port-O-Subs pre-game party from 4:00 â 6:00 pm in the Concourse the Orleans Arena due to inclement weather. STAR 102.7 FM will be on hand to provide live entertainment. Also, on Saturday January 8th the Wranglers will celebrate Elvis Presley's birthday by giving away 1,000 Elvis sunglasses with sideburns. The team will also wear specialty jerseys in honor of Presley. The specialty jerseys will be auctioned off during the game.
Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to the Wranglers Opening Night on November 2nd as well as all other 35 regular season home games and both pre-season games at any of the following ticket locations; The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast, or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers.
