
Koopmans To Grand Rapids

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that goaltender Logan Koopmans has been recalled to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. Prior to yesterday's game in Dayton, Head Coach and Director of Player Personal Nick Vitucci placed forward Mark Giannetti on waivers.
Logan, the ECHL Saver of the Week for the week of November 15th through the 21st, has appeared in 14 games with Toledo this season. Koopmans has a record of 5-7-1 with a 3.11 goals against average and a .895 save percentage. Logan posted his first career shutout in Peoria on November 20th (1-0). Mark Giannetti appeared in 6 games for the Storm, and collected 2 penalty minutes.
Toledo is home tonight against the Dayton Bombers at 7:30pm. Toledo Hockey...A History of Champions!
