Victoria Salmon Kings News Release

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings Captain Brad Dexter left the game Friday with a separated shoulder.

Dexter has been making the news of late but until now it has been all positive. Dexter leads the team in points, he was named In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week in early December and most recently a starter for the National Conference All-Star team.

Dexter will be re-evaluated by team doctors to assess the severity of his injury.

With Dexter out of the line-up the Salmon Kings again are in tough with injuries. Jason Hegberg and Ryan Watson are still unavailable to Coach Bryan Maxwell and Aaron Plumb is a few days away from making the roster. Defenseman Corey Smith is out with an ankle injury and forward David Neale is not available for the remainder of this road trip.
