Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers® posted a perfect 2-0-0 record this past week, sweeping the Utah Grizzlies. The Wranglers started the week with a 2-1 win over Utah on Friday night. The two teams played again in Las Vegas on Saturday, with the Wranglers taking the second game of the series 4-3. Las Vegas is unbeaten in regulation over the last seven games (5-0-2).
Las Vegas will host Alaska on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday night at 7:05 pm. Sunday, the Wranglers will wrap up a nine-game home stand with Phoenix at 5:05 pm. Las Vegas needs 11 points to clinch the National Conference and Pacific Division. Las Vegas is eight points away from becoming the only team in ECHL history to record three straight 100-point seasons.

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers edged the Utah Grizzlies 2-1 in front of 4,956 fans at the Orleans Arena on Friday night. Left wing Brandon Kaleniecki scored the game-winning goal and goalie Daniel Manzato made 30 saves to improve to 21-6-5 on the year. Defenseman Jason Krischuk also scored a power-play goal in the victory. Utah goalie Mike Mole stopped 35 of 37 Las Vegas shots in the defeat.

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers edged the Utah Grizzlies 4-3 in front of 6,382 fans at the Orleans Arena on Saturday night. Captain Peter Ferraro netted the game-winning goal at 13:29 to complete a third-period comeback. Goalie Kevin Lalande tied a career-high with 41 saves on the evening. Las Vegas won its' 40th game of the season, marking the fourth time in five years the team has hit the 40-win plateau. Forwards Tyler Moseinko, Bruce Mulherin and Nathan Barrett each scored in the victory.
Wranglers Roster Report - Cole Called Up to AHL
The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Brad Cole has been recalled by the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League.
The rookie defenseman leaves Las Vegas after playing in 19 games with four assists and 11 penalty minutes. The first-year blueliner also posted a +7 during his tenure with the Wranglers. Cole was undrafted out of juniors but was invited to Calgary's camp as a free agent in fall of 2007. He played in 19 games with Quad City earlier this season registering one goal and two assists for three points.
Defensemen Gerry Burke and Gord Baldwin remain in the AHL with Quad City. Rookie center Curtis Fraser remains with the AHL's San Antonio Rampage. Defenseman Tyson Strachan still is in the American Hockey League with the Peoria Rivermen. Defenseman Jason Jozsa also remains on recall to Grand Rapids of the AHL.
Center Chris Ferraro, defenseman Sean Owens and left wing Shawn Limpright all remain on the injured reserve.
