Attention All Stingrays Season Ticket Holders: Mark you calendars for the following important dates -

MARCH 30th: Come join us for the End of the Year Season Ticket Holder and Booster Club Party. The event will be held at the Saturn of North Charleston from 1-4pm.

Fundraising with the Rays: Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Children's Miracle Network on Saturday night. We are still totaling the amount of money raised for CMN and will update all our fans as soon as we know.

We have one more fundraiser coming up this year. Help us raise money for the Fraternal Order of the Police and the Distressed Officers Fund on Saturday, March 29th. Members of the FOP are selling the tickets for $10 with 100% of the proceeds going back to their organization, so ask your local, friendly, neighborhood police officer where you can purchase your ticket to support to police. During the game, the Stingrays will be holding a raffle auction for the remaining game-worn jerseys with proceeds going back to the FOP and Distressed Officers Fund. Hope to see you there!

Community Update: Marty Guerin will be tonight's guest on the Coach's Show. The Coach's Show airs live on ESPN Radio beginning at 6 p.m. or fans can come out to Bobby Hartin's Sports Grill in West Ashley to watch the show. Guerin has 46 points this season (17g-29a) in 61 games. His 22 power play points ranks fourth on the team.

The Stingrays will be holding a blood drive, courtesy of the American Red Cross, before the game on Friday, March 21st. The American Red Cross will be out at the Coliseum beginning at 3 p.m. for those who want to donate.

The entire team will be out at the CiCi's in West Ashley on Thursday, March 27th from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. for a team photo autograph session. Fans can secure their team photo early and get it signed by the team on this date only. Team Photos will be handed out at the last game of the year.

Roster News: Sean Collins was called up to the Hershey Bears prior to Saturday's game. Collins had nine points (1g - 8a) and 14 penalty minutes in 24 games with the Rays. Five of Collins' assists came on the power play.

Latest in Hockey News: The Stingrays played four games this week, including two very important division games against Gwinnett and Florida, the two teams the Stingrays are battling with for second place in the division.

On Wednesday, the team traveled to Columbia to play the Inferno. Davis Parley recorded his third shutout of the season as the Stingrays won 5-0. In his Stingrays debut, Todd Griffith had a goal and an assist. Marty Guerin added two goals to the effort, including the game winner.

On Friday, the team battled the bad weather of Atlanta to play the Gwinnett Gladiators. In a hard-fought game, the Stingrays were able to capitalize on the power play, as Morin's power play goal proved to be the game-winner in the 2-1 victory.

Saturday brought the team back to the North Charleston Coliseum to play the Everblades. Parley turned away 34 of the 35 shots and the Rays came away with the third win in as many games winning 3-1. Griffith's game-winning goal made him the 16th different Stingrays player to record a game-winning goal this season.

Sunday's game brought Columbia to town for a re-match of Wednesday's game. The Stingrays scored in the final minute of both the first and second periods, but were unable to come away with the win, losing 2-4.

ECHL Leaders: Travis Morin is 5th in the league in scoring with 71 points (32g-39a) in 61 games. His 32 goals is second in the league, his 239 shots is 4th in the league and he leads the league with six short-handed goals and short-handed points.

Grant McNeill has the league lead in minor penalties with 74 in 57 games. His 213 penalty minutes is first among defensemen and 13 major penalties is 3rd, one ahead of teammate Nate Kiser, with 12. Kiser continues to lead defensemen with four short-handed assists.

In goalie news, Davis Parley jumped to 5th among goalies with a 2.37 goals-against average. Josh Johnson is 17th with 2.81 goals-against average.

Among rookies, the Stingrays now have three of the top-20 point scorers. Travis Morin is 3rd with 71 points, Pierre-Luc O'Brien's is 14th with 50 points, and Marty Guerin is 19th with 46 points. Morin's 32 goals also places him second.

The Stingrays are tied for 2nd place in the South Division with the Gwinnett Gladiators, both with 83 points, and are tied for 4th place in the American Conference.

The Stingrays are 6th in the power play, converting 20.5% of the time, and 7th in the penalty kill, successful 84.4% of the time.
