Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Brad Cole has been recalled by the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League.
The rookie defenseman leaves Las Vegas after playing in 19 games with four assists and 11 penalty minutes. The first-year blueliner also posted a +7 during his tenure with the Wranglers.
Cole was undrafted out of juniors but was invited to Calgary's camp as a free agent in fall of 2007. He played in 19 games with Quad City earlier this season registering one goal and two assists for three points. He is expected to play for the Flames tonight in Houston against the Aeros.
Prior to turning pro, the Miniota, MB native split five seasons between the Seattle Thunderbirds, the Kootenay Ice and the Saskatoon Blades.
