LAST WEEK: Fresno went 2-2-0 last week, picking up wins over Idaho and Stockton, while falling to Alaska and Stockton. The Falcons are 36-17-8 on the season for 80 points, and are in second place of the Pacific Division.

Tuesday, March 11 vs. Idaho

FALCONS 6 Steelheads 4

Fresno raced out to a 3-0 lead on first-period goals from Matt Quinn and Kenny Bernard and an early second period tally from Matt O'Dette. Idaho got on the board on a Matt Craig goal 13:05 into the second, but the Falcons answered right back on a Tyler Kindle tally just over a minute and a half later. The Steelheads scored two goals in the first six minutes of the third period to pull within one, but a Brady Leisenring power-play goal at 14:39 and a Josh Prudden empty-net tally at 19:05 secured the win.

Wednesday, March 12 vs. Alaska

Aces 4 FALCONS 1

Fresno's five-game winning streak ended on Wednesday with a 4-1 loss to Alaska. After a scoreless first period, the Aces got on the board first 5:52 into the second period on a Josh Soares' goal. The Falcons tied it at 12:34 on a Mike Ramsay power-play goal. The Aces pulled away in the third period, as F.P. Guenette scored a pair of goals, and Kimbi Daniels added an empty-net goal late to set the final.

Friday, March 14 @ Stockton

FALCONS 4 Thunder 3

Brady Leisenring scored 4:34 into the first period, and Mike Ramsay added another goal 1:45 into the second to give Fresno a 2-0 lead. Stockton scored a pair of goals just 1:18 apart late in the second period to pull even, but Josh Prudden notched a power-play goal with two minutes remaining in the period to give Fresno a 3-2 lead through 40 minutes. The Thunder again tied the game 2:31 into the third period, but Matt Stefanishion scored the eventual game-winner at 11:54, stretching the Falcons road winning streak to five games.

Saturday, March 15 @ Stockton

Thunder 2 FALCONS 1

The Falcons saw their eight-game road unbeaten streak come to an end on Saturday with a 2-1 loss to Stockton. The Falcons struck first on an Igor Gongalsky power-play goal 7:04 into the first period. That lead held until the 18:19 mark of the second period when Stockton's Tim O'Connell scored on a shot from the point. The Thunder forged ahead with a power-play goal from Brian Lee 7:48 into the third period, and held on there for the win.

The Falcons and RoadRunners meet for the final two times this season. Fresno has won each of the last five meetings by a combined score of 25-9, and leads the season series 5-1-0.

BROADCAST NOTE: Tuesday's game will be joined in progress on 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce, following the completion of Fresno State softball. The game can be seen and heard in its entirety on-line by purchasing the B2 Networks feed. Due to the tape-delayed broadcast, the audio webcast of Tuesday's game will also be joined in progress.

Friday, March 21 vs. Bakersfield 7:30 p.m.

Bakersfield makes its first visit to Fresno since December 2 as the two teams open a three-game series. The Falcons have won four straight in the season series, and have a 5-1-1 mark against the Condors this season.

PROMOTIONS: St. Baldrick's Day Celebration, presented by Supercuts and 104.1 FM. The first 3,000 fans in attendance receive a Falcons hat, and following the game, Falcons players and staff members will have their heads shaved on the ice, helping to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Fans can log-on to the Falcons website and click on the St. Baldrick's Day link, and donate money to their favorite player or staff member.

Saturday, March 22 vs. Bakersfield 7:30 p.m.

The Falcons and Condors meet in the middle game of their three-game series in the final meeting of the year at Save Mart Center.

PROMOTIONS: The return of the World Famous San Diego Chicken, presented by KSEE 24, 95.7 The Fox, and Carl's Jr. One of the world's most well-known mascots makes his return to Save Mart Center to entertain fans of all ages.

FALCONS NOTES

- Fresno's 18 road wins is just one win shy of matching the team's single-season record of 19 set in 1996-97, and tied in 2005-06.

- Josh Prudden has at least one point in each of his first seven games with the Falcons (4g, 7a)

- Fresno has allowed just 35 first-period goals this season, the fewest goals allowed by any team in any period.

- P.O. Beaulieu's 13 goals this season are tied for the fifth most goals by a Falcons' defensemen in a single season. The all-time team record for goals by a defenseman is 17, set by Cory Murphy in 2002-03.
