
Wranglers bounce Salmon Kings, 4-1

Las Vegas, NV â The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the Victoria Salmon Kings 4-1 on Friday night at the Orleans Arena in front of 4,938. Forwards Dan Tudin and Shawn Limpright each scored a goal and added an assist as Las Vegas improved to 8-0-0 against Victoria this season. Goalie Colin Zulianello made 20 saves for the victory in his Wranglers debut. Defenseman Deryk Engelland and forward Darren Lynch also scored in the win. Las Vegas will host Bakersfield on Saturday at 7:05 pm.
Winger Dan Tudin scored the lone goal of the first period, notching his 21st goal of the season at 10:30. Limpright and Nick Anderson assisted on the goal to give Las Vegas a 1-0 first-period lead.
In the second period Victoria tied the game at one. Center Mark Smith tipped a loose puck past Zulianello at 12:06, sending the game into the third period tied.
Winger Shawn Limpright scored his 15th goal of the season at 3:09 of the third period to lift Las Vegas to a 2-1 lead. Las Vegas added to the damage when right wing Darren Lynch tallied his 15th of the season at 16:37, extending the lead to 3-1. Defenseman Deryk Engelland added the empty-net goal for the 4-1 final.
The Wranglers will host Bakersfield on Saturday. Saturday, fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party in the parking lot of the Orleans Arena from 4:00â6:00 pm. The first 2,500 fans of the day (over the age of 3) to attend Saturday's game, will receive the collectible and playable Wranglers MR. POTATO HEAD SPORTS SPUD, this includes the first 200 fans to Saturday's Port-of Subs Pre-Game Party. The Wranglers conclude their season with three home games against Alaska on April 5th, 8th, and 9th.
April 2nd is the final date for season seat holders to renew their seats for the upcoming 2005-06 season, before they are released to the general public. Fans may contact the Wranglers front office (702-471-7825) to renew their full season seat packages, as well as their mini-plans.
Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations; The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast, or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers.
