--The Wolves allowed three first-period goals and were unable to catch up, losing, 4-1, to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks at the Allstate Arena
--Left wing KARL STEWART earned Chicago's lone goal
--Netminder KARI LEHTONEN recorded 27 saves on 31 shots

Fri., Oct. 29 Chicago 2, (at) Grand Rapids 1

--After allowing the first goal of the game, the Wolves registered two goals in a 3:10 span in the second period and held on to defeat the Grand Rapids Griffins, 2-1, at the Van Andel Arena
--Left wings BRIAN MALONEY notched the game-winner and STEVE MALTAIS also scored for Chicago
--Goaltender KARI LEHTONEN registered 26 saves on 27 shots

Wed., Oct. 27 (at) Chicago 7, San Antonio 1

--The Wolves scored seven unanswered goals, including three on five first-period shots, en route to a 7-1 victory against the San Antonio Rampage at the Allstate Arena
-- Left wing BRAD LARSEN collected a hat trick while newcomer LONNY BOHONOS (G, 2A) and defenseman GREG HAWGOOD (3A) also contributed three-point efforts
-- Goaltender KARI LEHTONEN turned aside 31 of 32 shots

STEVE MALTAIS: Shares fourth in the league with 12 points (7G, 5A) and three power-play goals in eight games ... Tied for third in the AHL with seven goals ... WOLF TRACKS

--The Wolves' loss on Saturday ended a three-game home winning streak; Chicago outscored its rivals, 15 to 7, during that span.
--Chicago allowed four goals on Saturday after holding its opponents to just one in each of its previous two games.
--The Wolves have posted seven of their 13 goals spanning the last four games in the second period; overall, Chicago has registered 10 goals in the middle frame this season, the most by the team in any period.

ONE AND ONLY

Chicago was held to just one goal on Saturday after notching three or more goals in four of its previous five games.

NOTABLE

The Wolves will host their seventh annual "Get Fed by the Wolves" lunch at the Ram Restaurant and Brewhouse, 9520 W. Higgins Rd., in Rosemont on Sun., Nov. 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. Wolves players will trade in their hockey equipment for aprons and serve as official waiters at the event, with proceeds benefitting charities associated with former Wolves center Dan Snyder and various Chicago-area charities.
