Wolf Pack Release Matthew Ford from PTO

HARTFORD, December 9, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has released forward Matthew Ford from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement. Ford will return to the Wolf Pack's ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Ford, a rookie out of the University of Wisconsin, has appeared in 12 games since joining the Wolf Pack November 6th, and has registered one goal and six penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack return to action at the XL Center tomorrow night, Wednesday, December 10th, taking on the Providence Bruins in a 7:00 game. The Pack are also in home action this Friday night, December 12th, vs. Worcester on Guida's Family Value Night (7:00) and Saturday night, December 13th against Springfield for Miika Wiikman Bobblehead Night. Through January 2nd, adult tickets for Wolf Pack home games can be purchased for as low as $10 each.
