Crunch Announce Details of Sylvan Learning Center 'Friday Night Family Fun Section'

Syracuse, NY (December 9, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Sylvan Learning Center 'Friday Night Family Fun Section'

At every Friday home game during the 2008-09 Crunch season, the Syracuse Crunch and Sylvan Learning Center will designate one section in the arena as the Sylvan Learning Center 'Friday Night Family Fun Section' in an effort to provide a more family-oriented environment for fans.

During these games, Al, the Crunch's mascot, will make a special appearance in the Sylvan Learning Center 'Friday Night Family Fun Section' to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. In addition, one lucky fan seated in the Sylvan Learning Center 'Friday Night Family Fun Section' will have a chance to participate in an in-game or intermission promotion.

Sylvan Learning was founded in 1979 and is North America's leading provider of private tutoring for children in grades pre-K through 12. Today, they have more than 1,100 centers conveniently located in neighborhoods across the United States and Canada. Each location delivers personalized tutoring programs to students of all ages and skills levels in every academic subject, including test preparation.

The Crunch's next game is Friday, December 12 as they return home to take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
