Brandon Sugden Inks AHL Contract with Wolf Pack

HARTFORD, December 9, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has signed Brandon Sugden to an American Hockey League contract. The 10th-year veteran winger had been playing with the Wolf Pack on a Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.

Since signing with the Pack October 10th, the 6-4, 233-pound Sugden has skated in 16 games, contributing one assist and amassing 51 penalty minutes.

Sugden, 30, has 191 games of AHL experience with Worcester, Syracuse and the Wolf Pack. His AHL career stats show six goals, 10 assists, 16 points and 861 penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack are back in action at the XL Center tomorrow night, Wednesday, December 10th, taking on the Providence Bruins in a 7:00 game. The Pack are also in home action this Friday night, December 12th, vs. Worcester on Guida's Family Value Night (7:00) and Saturday night, December 13th, against Springfield for Miika Wiikman Bobblehead Night. Through January 2nd, adult tickets for Wolf Pack home games can be purchased for as low as $10 each.
