Wolf Pack Assign Mike Taylor to ECHL Charlotte

HARTFORD, October 18, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has loaned forward Mike Taylor to its ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers. Taylor had yet to suit up in a game for the Wolf Pack.

A rookie out of Harvard University, Taylor signed an American Hockey League contract with the Wolf Pack July 1st. He played eight games last year with the Wolf Pack, following the conclusion of his college season, and chipped in two goals and two assists for four points. In 34 games with Harvard, Taylor notched 12 goals and 23 assists for 35 points and had eight penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack are back in action tonight in Toronto, taking on the Marlies in a 7:00 game. All the action of that contest can be heard live in HD radio on WTIC HD 2, and on-line at wtic.com. A live video webcast of the game is available at ahllive.com.

The Pack return home to the XL Center this Friday night, October 24th to host the Philadelphia Phantoms in a 7:00 game. That is "Pink in the Rink" night, to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
