Clinton LumberKings News Release
Clinton (Low A -- Midwest League)
Fort Wayne 8 @ Clinton 3
John Bannister (3-5; 3.90) suffered through his worst appearance of the year, allowing seven runs, four earned, on 11 hits and a walk, fanning just one as the L-Kings loss left them with just a 0.5 game lead in the MWL West.
Kevin Richardson (.248 / .328 / .416) went 2-4 with a double while Andrew Wishy (.225 / .346 / .351) delivered an RBI double for his only hit in four at-bats. Wishy, who started slow last year as well, has gone 6-19 (.316) with a homer, four doubles and five RBIs over the past week.
