Witasik to join Loaiza, Bradley on Rehab with River Cats Sunday

A's reliever Jay Witasik will join the River Cats today as part of his Major League Rehabilitation assignment, joining outfielder Milton Bradley and starting pitcher Esteban Loaiza, who are both scheduled to be in the Cats' Sunday lineup on rehab assignments.

Witasik was placed on the 15-day disabled list on 4/14 with a sprained left ankle. Witasik is scheduled to pitch immediately after Loaiza, who will start the game.

Bradley, who was 0-for-3 with a walk in his River Cats debut on Saturday, is expected to leadoff as the designated hitter. Bradley was placed on the DL on 4/27 with a sprained right knee and Loaiza went on the DL on 4/29 with a strained left trapezius muscle.
