Wirll Added to Active Roster

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, announced today that RW Mike Wirll has been activated from team suspension. The announcement was made by Head Coach Marty Raymond.

Wirll, 26, was acquired by the Condors from the Mississippi Sea Wolves in exchange for future considerations on Nov. 27, but was subsequently placed on team suspension when he did not initially report to Bakersfield. He tallied 11 points (2g-9a) in 14 games with Mississippi prior to the trade. The sixth-year winger originally made his pro debut in Condorstown late in the 2002-03 season, and has accumulated 224 points (105g-119a) in 267 professional games throughout his career. Wirll is expected to make his Condors season debut tonight in Fresno.

Additionally, F Nick Pernula was placed on the 7-IR yesterday and is eligible to be activated on Dec. 18, while LW Bobby Bolt was transferred from the 7-IR to the 30-IR yesterday, and is eligible to be activated on Dec. 30. G Dave McKee remains on the 3-IR and is eligible to be activated on Saturday, and C Dave Bonk remains on the 30-IR and is eligible to be activated on Dec. 23.
