Elmira Jackals (11-8-3) at Reading Royals (7-17-1) 7:05 p.m. ET
- Royals won 6-5 in a shootout on Sunday to improve to 4-1-0 in their last five home games against Elmira.
- Chris Korchinski leads the Jackals in the last five games with five goals and six points.
- Reading's Tyler Doig has seven points (3g-4a) in his last four games.
- Elmira's Pierre-Luc Faubert has a five-game point streak (3g-3a).

Charlotte Checkers (10-10-2) at Dayton Bombers (13-8-3) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Checkers have won the last four meetings and are 13-5-1 all-time against Dayton.
- Bombers defenseman Joe Van Culin has a four-game point streak (1g-5a) and a three-game assist streak (5a).
- Charlotte's Peter Tsimikalis has a three-game point streak (1g-3a) and a three-game assist streak (3a).

- Phoenix's Mitch Carefoot has five points (2g-3a) in his last two games.
- Chris St. Jacques leads the Salmon Kings against Phoenix with eight points (3g-5a) in five games.

Bakersfield Condors (8-11-3) at Fresno Falcons (16-8-1) 7:35 p.m. PT
- Condors won 2-1 at Fresno on Nov. 15 to improve to 25-15-9 all-time against the Falcons.
- Fresno rookie Michael Ouzas is 2-1-0 with a goals-against average of 1.95 in three starts against Bakersfield.
- Rookie Matt Pope leads the Condors with 11 goals and is second on the team with 19 points in 19 games.
- Falcons' Kenny MacAulay is tied for third among ECHL defensemen with 13 assists and is fourth with 16 points.

Idaho Steelheads (13-8-2) at Alaska Aces (14-7-1) 7:15 p.m. AT
- Aces have won the last three regular season meetings at Alaska and are 22-17-4 all-time against Idaho.
- Idaho rookie Matt Climie is 1-1-0 with a goals-against average of 1.45 in two starts against Alaska.
- Alaska rookie Jean-Philippe Lamoureux is 2-0-1 with a goals-against average of 0.97 in three starts against Idaho.
- Steelheads rookie Kris Sparre has a four-game point streak (4g-1a).

- The ECHL celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08 and is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.

- Former ECHL coaches working as head coaches in the NHL are Bruce Boudreau of the Washington Capitals and Scott Gordon of the New York Islanders. Boudreau, who coached Mississippi for three seasons winning the Kelly Cup championship in 1999, was named NHL Coach of the Year in 2007-08 becoming the first former ECHL coach to receive the award. Peter Laviolette, who began his coaching career with the Wheeling Nailers, led Carolina Hurricanes to the Stanley Cup in 2006.
- There are 18 assistant coaches in the NHL who were players or coaches in the ECHL.
- There are 18 former ECHL officials scheduled to work as part of the NHL officiating team in 2008-09 with referees David Banfield, Chris Ciamaga, Ghislain Hebert, Marc Joannette, Mike Leggo, Wes McCauley, Dean Morton, Dan O'Rourke, Brian Pochmara, Kevin Pollock, Kyle Rehman, Chris Rooney, Justin St. Pierre and Ian Walsh and linesmen Steve Barton, Brian Mach, Tim Nowak and Jay Sharrers. Barton, Joannette, Leggo, McCauley, Nowak, Pollock, Rooney and Sharrers all worked the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
- ECHL has affiliations with 23 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 19 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.
- In the last six seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
