Sea Wolves Announce Changes to 2008-09 Schedule
December 12, 2008 - ECHL (ECHL)
Mississippi Sea Wolves News Release
BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today the revised schedule for the remainder of the 2008-09 season.
Due to the Augusta Lynx ceasing operations last week, the ECHL worked together with member teams to revise the schedule to make up for the remaining games that were originally scheduled to be played against Augusta.
The Sea Wolves home game that was previously scheduled for January 24, 2009 against the Augusta Lynx has been rescheduled for January 23 at 7:05 p.m. against the Charlotte Checkers. Originally scheduled to play on the road on February 8, 2009, the Sea Wolves will instead host the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7:05 p.m. at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
The road game previously scheduled for February 12, 2009 at Augusta has been changed to a home game at 7:05 p.m. against the Charlotte Checkers, and the home game scheduled for February 14 at 5:05 p.m. has been dropped from the schedule. On the same weekend, the Sea Wolves will visit South Carolina on February 15 at 4:00 p.m.
The following week, Mississippi will host the Gwinnett Gladiators rather than the Florida Everblades on February 18 at 7:05 p.m. Later in February, the road game originally scheduled for February 27 against Augusta has been dropped from the schedule, and the Sea Wolves will visit South Carolina on February 28 at 6:05 p.m.
The Sea Wolves will travel to South Carolina for a three-game series on March 20, 21, and 22.
Although the Sea Wolves will continue to play 36 home dates, the schedule adjustment did reduce their road schedule to 35 for a total of 71 games.
