
Wings Stadium to host two post-Thanksgiving skates

Kalamazoo, MI- The Wings Stadium Complex, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube", announces they will host two Post Thanksgiving Skates in The Annex on both Friday, November 26th and Saturday, November 27th.
The day after Thanksgiving is known nationwide as the busiest shopping of the day of the year. The Wings Stadium Complex is giving parents a safe and friendly alternative to taking their kids shopping. The skate, which will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. will be a fun place where parents can drop off their children, so they can go shopping.
On Saturday, The Annex will host another Post Thanksgiving Skate from 7-9:30 p.m. This skate will feature prizes and a live DJ.
Admission for the skate on Friday is an affordable $4. The cost of Saturday's skate is only $5. Skate rental for those who need to rent skates will be $2 for either day.
Stadium Management Company owns both Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities, that plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
