Home cooking needed on Thanksgiving
November 22, 2004 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Kansas City Outlaws News Release
As the weather cools down across the country, so do the Kansas City Outlaws. After three more losses on the road, they will need some home cooking when they return to Kemper Arena for a Thanksgiving special on Thursday. The raucous Kansas City fans will be a welcome site for the Outlaws that have lost seven of the last nine games (6-10 overall record). For details on the Thanksgiving package for "Light up Kemper Arena" night, go to www.kansascityoutlaws.com. Don't forget ... the Outlaws are still undefeated at the friendly confines of Kemper Arena.
Magnetic schedule night:
The Outlaws are giving away magnetic schedules to the first 2500 fans on Friday, November 26 as Kansas City face off against Kalamazoo Wings at Kemper Arena at 7:30 p.m. End your day of shopping on "Black Friday" with a free gift at the Outlaws game.
Change in numbers:

Canucks and outlaws team up to develop future of hockey:
The Vancouver Canucks have assigned left winger Marc-Andre Roy to the Kansas City Outlaws. Roy is under contract by the Canucks, as the NHL team is looking for the 21-year old player to grow and develop in the Outlaws system under the leadership of Coach Darryl Williams. The Outlaws, who are not affiliated with an NHL organization, have a working relationship with Vancouver.

Kemper arena fact of the week:
The locker rooms for the Outlaws and the Comets (of the Major Indoor Soccer League) were updated and renovated before the start of the 2004-2005 season by Global Spectrum. After the Blades organization folded, the Comets overtook the former hockey team's locker area. As a result the Outlaws now use the Comets old locker area. Both locker areas are now state of the art and look better than ever and players and coaches on both teams are trilled with their accommodations at Kemper Arena.
