
West Virginia-Greensboro Postponed

Charleston Dirty Birds News Release
This evening's scheduled game between the West Virginia Power and Greensboro Grasshoppers has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Power and Grasshoppers do not meet in Charleston again during the first half of the season, but will play in Greensboro prior to the All-Star Game. The clubs will likely meet in a doubleheader at NewBridge Bank Park during their series from June 12 through June 15.
The Power have Wednesday off and will travel to Augusta to start a four game series against the GreenJackets on Thursday. After the Augusta set, West Virginia is on the road for four games in Charleston, SC, and will return to Appalachian Power Park on May 13 to begin a four game series against the Kannapolis Intimidators.
